Taking History

[Adam]

As he stood on a building overlooking a convoy of men who were escorting a stash of money to an unknown area, making an assumption he figures that they were taking it to one of the many banks in Unity. "Unity... onr of the most crowded of the four empires, may even the most." He said as he look around when a breeze brushed up against him.

"So how long are you going to stand up here, Adam?" Called a girl's voice to him, he knew it was on of the six, she must have een ready to grab the goods. The mission was going to be a hit and run, Alice would distract the guards long enough for him to grab the money and make off with it, seemed simple enough. He looked back to respond but she was already gone with the wind, when he looked back he saw that Alice was already fighting the guards. Using his shadow dashes toward the conxoy, to the untrained eyes he seemed to have simply warped from the building to his destination. Too easy, he thought to himself as he moved the leather flap that covered the back of a carriage that was said to be holding what he was looking for.

He was shocked when he realized that the carriage was filled with four guards, he leaps back, placing a hand over the bard of his sword, ready to strike them as they got out to either arest or kill him, which ever came first. The men drew their swords, but one of them were too late as Adam drew his sword, sending an arch of darkness into one of the guards, knocking them to the ground and disarming them at the same time. Before they even thought to stand he was alread stabing them in the neck, he looks over in time to dodge a spear that would stuck right through his abdomen, that for obvious reasons would have put him in a bad position. Using his sword again he shoots out an arch of dark energy at his enemies, the attack then blows up and sends them stubling in different directions which gave him enough time to jump in to the vehicle and escape with a bag of gold in one hand, a sword in his other. He was gone almost as soon as he arrived, knowing that it would be rather difficult to take the money to the base by himself would not be an easy task he decided to wait for his help to arrive and just bring it to one of the near by camps.

[Upon Arrival]

As he made his way in to the camp he dropped off what he stole for one of the other lesser members to take care of for him. "Good work Adam, I must say, you're almost as good as your dad." He turns to see that she had vanished yet again.

"It really is hard to spot a higher tier member of the "Six", I cant even speak directly to one who's talking to me." He said, shaking his head as he went to get his fair share of food to dine with the rest of his kin. As he ate a question was shot in his direction.

"I'm guessing it went smoothly, right?"

"If you couldn't already tell by the bag that I dropped off then yeah, it was a smooth get away." He said as if the guy was stupid.

"Watch your tone, boy!" The man retorted, as he stood up.

"Well I cant help that you're a dolt." He said condescendingly calm.

"What did you say you fire bug?" The man replied, putting his foot on a chair, he then proceded to lean across the table and violently place his hand on the table, taking a drink out of the cup he had in his other hand.

"You've prooved my point, now carry on before your duntiness starts to effect me."
The man spit in Adam's plate before he left, leaving him with a plate of food and spit. "I wasn't hungry anyway." He said, when in reality he was still somewhat hungry, so he grabbed another plate and began to eat.

[Adam]

Finally finished with his plate, Adam left to see if he could train his skills somewhere. As he left the dinning hall. He looked around and noticed a dummy with some wooden swords laying around; As he goes to pick it up he hears someone mumbling behind him, grabs the sword and began to train, ignoring whoever it was as he didn't know thier voice.

"Hey kid, I'm talking to you, don't cha know it's rude to ignore people?" Still ignoring the person he began to attack the dummy, starting off with a few diagnal attacks. "Alright, I'll fix you." The voice grumbled, he could make out the voice a male that were in their 20s'. "Alright kid face me like a man, or I will kill you were you stand."

Sighing as he dropped the wooden sword he turned to catch eyes with the thug that he met in the hall. "Not you again, I figured you'd be gone after embarrassing yourself like that." The dim witted bandit's blood began to show up on his face as he held up his middle finger to him.

"Why don't you fight me so we can see who the real embarrassment is... You damned fire bug." Shaking his head Adam placed the palm of his hand on the hilt of the blade.

"You just don't learn..." He said in a cold voice, as if he were just a figment of one's imagination Adam travels at speeds that would have overwhelmed the man, it wasn't for Alice. From out of nowhere she appeared, grabbed him by the arm and tossed him over her shoulder and back first on to the ground; Adam growned as he plopped on the ground.

"Are you done now?" She asked in a big sister voice, almost as if she were about to lecture him.

"mmmhmmm..." He let out a soft tone as if the wind had been knocked right out of him.

"Good, lets go... NOW." She said as she grabbed him by the shirt then dissappears with the wind.

[Moving to an empty field]

After being dragged along the wind for so long he was finally dropped of in an open field outside of Unity. "Are you crazy, attacking another member like that, you need to grow up, that attitude of yours is going to leave you working alone." Alice said, as she luanched a wooden sword at his head, the weapon hit him in the face as he tried to dodge.

"I have no problem working alone... I don't need friends to grow up, I DRINK MILK." He replied arrogantly, .

"See, that's what I mean, that anger problem of yours, you really are your father's son." Adam looked away, she says that all the time, as if she was close to him or something similar. 'I'll ask her about the relationship between her and his dad.'

"Why do you always say that, what were you to my dad anyway?" He asked, trying to predict the response that he was going to get.

"Don't worry about that, just grab the sword, I'm going to teach you a thing or two." He nodded as he grabbed the sword and held it ready, he knew her fighting style and figured she would try and change it some way to throw him off, it wouldn't matter anyway.

"Well why don't you come and attack me." He nods and charges her, sword held close to his chest.

[Adam]

[Attacking Alice]

As he came within striking distance Adam raised his sword diagnally in an attempt to hit her throat, but before he realized it she had already stopped him at his wrist and proceeded to kick him beside his knee-cap. The kick not only was painful but it shook the lower portion of his body in the direction opposite of the kick.

With a bit of quick thinking he was able to pivot and almost elbow the girl in the face, it was unfortunate that she was able stop, hooked his elbow and clipped him to the ground. 'Wow, she's good... Too good...' He thought to himself as he tried to get up, he was bloked by a foot placed over his chest.

"Now what if that man was as good as I am now, you wouldn't have stood a chance aginst him." He considered that as a possibility, if the man was much better than he anticipated he would have retreated, or looked for a way to beat him.

"Hmph, I know the man is skill-less, just look at the way he acted." He responded with cofidence.

"That's beyond the point Adam, you have to make friends, it easy to take a challenge with someone you know will have your back over having to take on a problem alone." She says as she placed her hands on her hips. "That's why I'm assigning you a new mission."

[A boy about a year or two younger than him rises out from his hiding place.]

"Your job for now on to work with him, you two are going to take missions from but you will have to stay together, for now on both of you will assist me." Adam glared at the boy, he was going to work with someone he didn't know, still he obeys the orders and nods.

[Adam]

[Meeting the New Kid]

"Well don't just stnd there, why don't you two get to know each other." She said as she grabbed the kid by the arm and tugged him in Adam's direction. He turns away refusing to talk to him. "Don't make this difficult, either work with us or I will make you." Sighing because he knew he was nowhere near on her skill level he turns back to face him, by that time they were close enought to speak without raising their voices.

"Hey I'm john and I'm a shifter." He says in a friendly voice as he reaches his hand out to shake hands.

"Adam, swordsmen." He replied, not really caring enough to remember his name."I'll just call you J" He said as he coldy denies the hand shake.

"You better shake hands, oh and before I forget." Lighning shoots into the ground inches away from him. A lightning ball raises out of the ground."I took the liberty of setting you two with this thing here, now you'll have to work together." With that she was gone to go and handle something important.

"Well, what are we gonna do about this?" The boy asked, shifting his fist into hammars.

"Fight." He responded as he grabbed his weapon and rappadly shadow dashes toward the enemy, He was surprised when the ball shot up in the air as one lightining bolt then touched down eleswhere. "Well then." He said as he sends an arch of shadows at it. As the wave made its way over to the orb it moved out of the way. "Ok, I'm out of ideas..." He refuses to look at John, he didn't need help from him anyway.

"Alright, what if We--" Adam cuts him off by warping toward the orb of electricity when an electric bolt came in his direction, shocking him to the ground. He was quick to move when the stunning effects wore off, 'I cant take too many of those, I should be careful.' He thought as he moved back.

"Now are you willing to listen to me?" He asked.

"What do you want?"

"Can you fly in the air?" Adam shifts his body to the side in time to dodge another bolt.

"I can try." The boy turns one of his hands into a shield to block an attack, then something strange happened, the lighting around his shield formed into a ball in the center then shot right back it, giving the orb a taste of its own attack.

"Ok, when I say mark I want you to grab me and take me above it, then I want you to move back to the ground and try to attack it, what should happen is it shoots into the sky and I absorb it and turn it into energy." He nods, it wasn't too bad an idea, it might just work.

"Mark!" He yelled, on cue he grabs the boy and takes him above the lighting ball; returns to the ground where he dashes toward the lighting orb. On cue the ball shoot up into John who then absorbs it and falls to the ground. A loud thud was heard from the ground as he hit.

[Adam]

[Defeating the enemy]

As Jhon stands from the ground after leaving a print of himself he dusts some of the dirt off. "That was some fall, anyway that was some nice work on your part carrying us both up there, then being able to continue with the plan." He says, praising him on his performance. Adam roughly shook his head to the side, he still didn't want to work with him, but for Alice's sake he was going to get over it.

"You weren't too bad yourself, what are you again?" He asked as he watched a mental image of john blocking the attacks with some kind of shield, then absorbing the lighting ball like it was nothing.

"I'm a body shifter, with a perk or two outside of my powers." He responded, as he fold hid arms and stared at him. "I notice that sword of yours seems to give you the ability to do what you do, but I don't know how you are without it." Adam instantly gave the kid a smug look as he threw his sword to the ground.

"You want to see how I am without my sword?" He asked in a rough voice, he couldn't believe the nerve of this kid, questioning his skills.

"Oh no, it's not like that I know you're capable of holding your own, I mean you're her assi--" Adam cuts him off.

"Alice... Her name is Alice, that's not her real name but that's what I call her." He said as he picked up his weapon and placed it in it's sheath. "Well now what?"

[Alice suddenly warps infront of him; Grabs both him and the boy and carries them through the wind.]

[The group arrives at the camp that Adam was recently.]

[Adam trains]

With his sword skill only on a basic level and his hand-to-hand being completely useless to him he deceides to find a sparing partner.

[Adam looks for someone to partner up with.to better his skills.]

As he looked around he found no one willing to spar with him, he figured he'd have a much better chance of running into some loud mouth puzzlewit who'd try to fight them if he tempted them enough and sure enough after checking he found two of them drinking away. It wouldn't really be a challenge to take on a drunk but two drunks could even up the odds, somewhat.

"Hey dimwitted dead weights I bet I could beat the both of you with my eyes closed.. Twenty gold says so." The two looked at each other for a moment, then at him before one of them got up and raised their fists. "It's a scuffle you're looking for eh?" He responded, then slowly raised his fist in return, he wasn't any good at using his fists but tonight would be an exception. The man staggers around clumsily trying to throw the first punch. "Too easy." He mumbled while sidesteping the attack and jabing him in the face which did no good as it only made the man angry.

Another attempt, this time a kick to the abdomen, the attack came sluggishly to the point wher he stopped the kick with his hand and returned the favor by attacking his throat. "Has anyone seen... Oh nooo." A familiar voice spoke, he didn't have any time to look as he was buisy, it was unfortunate that he didn't look, while he was still taking on his opponent everything went black.

[Adam wakes up to find himself in a random inn]

"Where is this?" He asked himself, looking out of the window to get an idea of what happened. It was kinda fuzzy, but he can remember fighting a slouzy drunk then he ended up here. 'Did Alice have something to do with this?' he asked hisel, rubbing the back of his neck where he felt some pain. "Alice?" He called out, no response came back to him. "Well then, I cant stay here forever." He leaves the inn, then walks off to find something to do in order to pass time.

[Adam]

[Walking around Aimlessly]

As Adam walked around blindly, not knowing were to go he noticed a picture of himself on a wall; it said,"Wanted for thievery and the assault of four officers. 500 gold Reward for the capture of this dangerous man."

"Hmph, they can try to catch me." He mumbled to himself, there was no way he could be caught while he had a say so; if worst came to worst he would just leave Unity and go to one of the near by camps or even another empire, not only that but Unity is at least 7 or more kilometers. What really bothered him was how he ended up here, he was caught off guard when a voice screamed.

"there he is, get em'!" He turns his head slightly to the left to see what to him looked like a bunch of vigilanties. Adam firmly grips the hilt of his sword, waiting patiently as the group of three closed the distance between each other.

"Ill only give you one warning, stand down... NOW." he said forcefully, unfortunately for the group who wouldn't heed his warning they were about to receive thier punishment. within a half second his dashing ability had closed the gap between him and his first target that he had already preselected.

The man not only didn't see his ability coming but he also didnt expect a kick in the goods that sent him to his knees with one hand covering the spot where it hurt. With a final stab in threw the leg he incapacitated him. (1/3 remaining)

[Adam]

"That was your first warning, here's your second, STAND, DOWN, NOW." He said in an intimidating, demanding voice, the next one will end up worse off than the first if they didn't heed his warning.

"Forget this, he's not worth the gold they're paying!" One man screamed.

"Yeah man lets get out of here!" As they ran Adam sheathed his sword and went into the bag that he kept, pulled out his canteen and took a drink from it, shook it around then placed it back into his bag.

"Typical low life with no pay." Suddenly he hears the alarm go off, a bell signifying that a bounty was in the area. "Well that's my que." Placing the palm of his hand on the sword he Shadow Dashes out of the area, untrained civilians were one thing, but a group of guards were another, he easily would of ran out of stamina before they would have been dead.

[Adam Appears in a familiar part of Unity.]

Looking around at first didn't cause a bell to ring in his head, a minute late he was able to figure out that he was in 'Chrimson City' the first place he and Alice robbed a bank, well to be more realistic it was her who went into and stole from the bank, he just happened to be there while it was going on but why would anyone go into detail, he still played a role by carrying the money for her.

[Ten Year Flashback]

"Hey kid!" He turns his head to see a bag hit him in the face. 'Thump' This bag seemed to be solid, 'what's in this thing?' he thought as he held the bag with both hands.

"Get him!" A guard yelled, rallying up the others to attack him. With a small knife to defend himself he stood no chance of winning the fight, especially because he held it so clumsily. "Surround him, don't let him get away!" As he held the bag in one hand and the knife in the other he waited for them to make their move when, "Crackle" the sound of bones breaking caused the men to look back, it was a girl, at that time she looked to be atleast eight-teen'. He saw her for a brief second, then she dissappeared, a fraction of second later and she was grabbing him by the front of his shirt.

"Get ready." She wispered in his ear.

"Whaa-aaa!" Suddenly everything around him started warping by, as if though the world suddenly became faster on the whim, when everything suddenly stopped he let go of the bag that he was still somehow able to keep a grip on, turned over a barfed on the ground.

"Oh sorry, I forgot you've never been at that kind of speed before. Aren't you Adam?" He shook his head.

"Uuuh, yeah, I'm Adam... Wha-what do you want with me?" Suddenly a sword landed at his feet.

"Here, take this gift, it came strait from your father, he wants you to learn how to use it." He hesitatnly picks up the sword, shadows from deep within the weapon springs out as if he unleash the seal that was holding it all in, the shadows then enter his body and shushes from his body back to the sword. The ordeal caused him to fall to his knees, using his hands to keep him up he gasped for air, unsure as to what happened.

"There, now that that's done let me teach you how to use that thing." Adam looks up at her, holds his blade and tries to stand in a way that gives him balance. "Well come one, strike."

"Aaaaah!" With a clumsy charge he raises his blade up then strikes down diagnally.

[Six Months Later]

"Hey, you're getting the hang of it." Alice says as she hugs him roughly, "One day you'll be able to take me on, now remember, only fight if you have to, never leave yourself open and don't rely always on your swords powers, be able to use your own skills as a fighter." She then pushes him away and draws her sword. "Ok, now lets start getting you to use your weapon properly." She said.

[One Year And Six Months Later]

[Adam and Alice hid in the trees, waiting on their unsuspecting targets.]

"Ok Adam, you ready?" Alice whispers.

"Yeah, anytime." He responded with a nod, with in three seconds they teleported to the area where their targets were, he stabs one, a young girl about his age in the back, placed his foot on her back and kicked them off of his sword.

"Oh my god, no my duaghter, YOU monster!!!" A man presumed to be the fauther rushed towards him, instead of prepearing to attack he sheaths his sword and watches as Alice cuts his head off.

"Well, that was easy." She said as she placed a hand on his shoulder and said,"Good job now lets get out of here." In an instant they were gone, leaving behind no evidence of their existance, only a bloody remain of what they did.

[Present Time]

"Hmph, old memories..." He said aragantly, but in the back of his head he thought of the good times they had together, the times when they would just go on a stroll for fun, or when they would race across Unity, or even when Alice started a bar fight in the mercenary inn, or even the first time she got him drunk.... Now that kind of fun dosen't exist anymore, now it's all, 'partner up with the new kid.'

"That kid is a hinderence.... Him and time." He said as he left Chrimson behind, wondering what he was going to do now.

"HeeeeeeEEEy, Adam." He looks in all directions when he sees some of the middle class members of the organization. He nods to them as they walk to him. "Hey man, That girl, uuuuuuh, Alice, shes looking for you." He nods, then disappears.

[A few minutes later Adam returns to the recent camp]

As he sits around, hoping that she would come here looking for him he gets hungry and goes to eat. As he's sitting down, enjoying his meal for once a man aproaches him, the Skull Head or leader of the camp comes and sits next to him with a plate of his own. "Hey Red, Alice is looking for you, she got word of you 1000 gold bounty." His eyebrows shoot up, he couldn't believe the 500 gold raise, they're starting to want him even more. "She want to celebrate you reaching a notority that high, also here." He hands him seven pieces of paper. "We've got a new weapon made and we want to see how well it works, so when you get the chance we want you to go and throw it at a few people. Be careful with it, it is extremely flamable under certaint wind speeds and it will instantly combust." He nods his head, grabbing the paper and watching as the man left the hall. Adam continued to eat until he was full, then left.

[Adam]

[Adam sees a group of other men speaking amongst themselves]

"Theses guys are bad news for the organization., at this rate we're going to be taken out." A concerned man spoke.

"No man, it's just five people--" he was cut off by another.

"Five highly skilled, magic users..."

"Let's not forget we have our top tier as well as our six leaders," the guy starts to look in Adams direction and pointed. "And we've got this guy, he's in line to become a Leader himself, or atleast a top tier himself." Adam grines, no ones ever looked at him as a ray of hope before.

"He's still just one guy, and I doubt the other six would leave that island that they're living lavishly on, besides that girl, and she's only here because he's here, ever since the day they became popular and grew they started letting themselves go... Honestly, I wonder what they are doing on that rock." He takes that comment, knowing that it's mostly true.

"Hey, watch how you talk about them, they might not be here but there are others here, especially the skulls and while I'm on this they're small in numbers but they are still deadly, I don't think those FIIIiive can even take out even one of them."

"Actually the've taken out two of them."

"They got the drop on them, you and I both saw what happened..." After a while he gets interested, and figures, why not ask.

"What's going on here?" Adam asked.

"These 'Heros' who were hand picked by the court are bad news for us."

"Don't worry about them, someone will end up taking thier names." He pauses for a minute,"And there's like two million of us, there's no way they can kill us all." His words end up convincing them that it'll be alright in the long run. "So anyway, has any of you seen---"

"Aaaaaadaaaaaammm!" Alice tackles him from the sky and ends up taking him else where.

[The two appears on the roof of a building over looking a quarter Chrimson City.]

"I heard about your new bounty and I'm proud of ya, maybe one day you'll end up with a bounty like mines." She points to herself with her thumb.

"Uuuuh, I don't know, your bounty's pretty far up there, the last time I remembered you were at one million plus."

"Two million actually but who's counting?" She said in a playful voice. "Well, lets get started." She grabs him, the brings him to a near by mercenary's inn. "Just like old times." She says as they walk in and find a table, after waiting a while they noticed the waiter walk up to them.

"What can I get you two." He asked.

"I want two Boskos." She says as she slams the gold on to the ground.

"Diving right in eh, alright." He walks off.

"Sooo, how does it feel?"

[Adam]

[Adam and Alice are speaking]

"Uuuuh... Huh?" He asked in a confused voice, it was as if he had no idea what she meant.

"You know, the bounty." She responds as she pushes the Boskos in his direction, he looks at it for a minute then takes a small drink out of it.

"I don't know, kinda the same, my bounty really isn't anything special, not like yours, my wanted level dosen't even scratch yours." He responded.

Alice takes a hug swug of her drink before speaking,"Oh come on, if you knew how long it took me to get this far then you wouldn't have said that." She said in a reasuring voice.

"That's even worse, my--"

"It toook... Two moooonnnths." She slured in a drunken manner. "You're goooonnaaaa get there, just stick with me." she said, taking another drink.

"Yeah if you say so."

"I know soooo." She said with confidence,"I know you're gonna be feared... It's your duty as an elite member of the Six." He looks at the drink, then takes a light sip, suddenly a man walks up to the table and leans over it.

"Hey miss, why don't head to the back with me and I show ya a--- Oooof!" The man grunted as a punch supported by her wind sends the man flying into a wall. When he plops into it everything went quite for a moment, then everyone got out of there chairs, a bar fight had been started.

"Well here we go again, just like old times eh?" Alice said in a charismatic voice as she nudged him.

"Just like old times.." He said with a smile, this moment brought back old memories. With their own unique abilities they dashed across the room to the center, standing back to back.

"Hey bartender?" The man looks at her, frustraition in his eyes. "You can put the bill on my tab." She says as she disappeared, the reappears infront of someone, uppercutting them in the air and kicking them into another. He finally springs into action as he dodges a punch and returns a punch of his own, the attack nails him in the face but didn't really hurt him.

"Alright." He said, the man took a slow swing at him that he easily blocked, but had difficulty doing so. He turns around when a man grabs him by the sholder and ducks before he was able to throw his straite jab, the man even went far enough as to hit one of his own.

"Ouch, you fool watch it!" In the confusion he attacks the undefended mans throat, causing him to fall to his knees and gave him a shoulder to jump off of and get the man behind him with a backflip kick in the head. He finishes by grabbing the other guy by his head and slamming him to the ground facefirst. In about a minute he was able to knock out two of them, but there was still a few more to go.

"HEEY GUUYYS, sorry I'm late Iii---" John walks in with a drink sitting firmly in his hand, suddenly he drops it and raises his fist. "Looks like I came at the right time!" He said as he randomly picked someone and punched him, starting the action up again. Joing in on Alice he co-op attacks three guards, as she used her wind to lift them up he jumps over her, grabs his sword and sends a kick powered by an almost uncontrolable amount of shadow energy that slams them threw the wall.

"Welp,I guess I'll pay for that, he says as he looks around, the were down to eight men now and Alice was doing work, countering a mans punch by throwing them over her shoulders and triple spin-kicking another to point where he was flipping horizantally to the ground. Mean while John was holding his own, he picked up a table and smashed a mans head in.

Adam focuses his attention back to his own fight, he had two of them, they seemed to have sobbered up some, and they were just about ready to kill him, the had pulled out their weapons and were ready to use them. "Typical jar-heads." He said as he quick-draws his blade and sends an arch of shadows at the men, the hit explouds and causes massive damage to the floor, but in the prosses actualy killed a man and blew the others weapon aside while blowing him off into a chair; as he fell into it Adam took the opprotunity to stab him in the throat. That was his third kill so far, he didn't plan on stopping there, he was going to get way more kills than that. After awhile the bartender gets to the boiling point to where he chases everyone out and swears to let the local guards know about this.

[Adam's bounty raises to 5000 gold after the accident]
[John's bounty raises slightly]
[Alice's bounty barely changes any]
[The group leaves the inn]

[Adam]

[The group runs into a rival guild.]

As the two groups on opposite sides eye balled each other, sizing up one another Alice for the first time ever looses her cool. "How dare you step on to our turf, are you looking to get killed!!??" Adam takes note to this discovery, she hates that guild, if that wasn't enough he was surprised when she suddenly burst into flames.

"What the..." He said as she propelled herself toward a girl, her up by the shirt and slings her into a wall. "Oh, I remember now."John looks over at him.

"What?"

"She always said that she had a sister, weeeelll, lets just say they had a falling out... Aaaand that's her sister I believed." He said, making sure not to give out too much information.

"You traitor, why are you here!?" By that time the other two that was with the girl tried to help but were hesitant due to the flames, but surprisingly the sister was unfazed by it.

"I came because I need your help..." She said as a strong force of wind began to blow from her for a brief moment, putting out Alice's flames.

"Really, you come all this way to ask for my help, who do you take me for?"

"Well it so happens my guild leader found out I was giving away secret information to you guys.... Sooo, now I'm on the run from his elite soilders, as the fifth 'Six' and your sister I expect you to help me."

"What?" Both he John and Alice responded.

"Welp." John said as he threw his hands up in a surprised fashion. "What now?"

"So you mean for all this time I've hated you for nothing?"

"Well who's fault it for not attending a meeting ever in thier life?" She blushes in embarrasment as she rubs the back of her head.

"I can't help it that the meetings are always so boring." She said in her defense, "Besides I was always buisy taking care of this guy." She referred to Adam.

"Don't put me in this, besides, you left me by myself a few times so you have no excuse."

"Hello, are we forgetting something?" John asked.

"It's a long story, but long story short, this is my sister Mia."

"Your sister huh?"

"Ok, we should go now, before they find us." A man said, the group brings Mia to a ship where she is sent to the island of the Six.

"Well, she'll be much safer over there, how ever, we have to get rid of this guild's leader to make sure that she will be able to leave the island safely."

"So then what's the plan, we kill this elite group that they spoke of or do we just up and kill this leader who sent them?"

"All of them, even if were to kill their leader his group would not only still be around to get revenge but Mia's life would still be at risk as they would try to finish the asignment that was given to them."

"Well I'm going to go and find them, John I want you to go and tell the skulls in every camp, Adam you come with me."

[John goes to warn the other Skulls.]
[Alice and Adam goes looking for the elite.]
[Time switches to Evening]

[Adam]

As they walked into enemy territory an object seeming appears out of thin air in front of Adam. As he looked closer at it he found out that it was a letter with a grass-green color seal over it. When he opens the note it reads,

'Congradulation, you have been invited to the Academy, we are a school designed to hone your skills and make you a better all around person, we teach archery, swordsmanship of any kind, hand-to-hand, Magic, Stealth, Crafting, you name it we have it. Also do not be afraid because as soon as finish this letter you will be transported to the academy.'

Just like the note said, he sees a area around him spin around for a few seconds, then he was gone.

[Adam teleports to the academy]

[Adam]

As he opened his eyes he saw Alice, Shelby, John, Grey, pretty much everyone he knew was here. "Adam..." Alice said as she wraps her arms around him, he was unaware of what had happened, in all honesty it felt like a dream.

"Heeeeey, what are you doing I was just sleeping." He said, that's when Shelby shook her head.

"No... You were dead or at least unconscious for at least one month." His eyes widened.

"One month, how is that even possible my dream only lasted forty seconds if that."

"Your dreams are on a time completely different of reality which is why your dream was so short, think of the academy, 2 years there is about one year out here." He believed her, what she said really bad sense, especially when it was backed up with an example.

"Well I'm here now.." An awkward feeling passed over him as he realized that this was the closest he's been to Alice since he was a mere child. "You're making me y comfortable, you're too close to me..." She ignores him and instead holds on even tighter.

"Nope, I'm going to savor this moment."

"Stop it."

"Mmmm, still not done yet."

"Uuuugh, why is it that everyone feels it's ok to ignore me?!?" He sighed frustratedly, this wouldn't be the last time something like this happened.

[Adam]

"Are you done yet?" A few seconds later she let's go.

"Yeah, I'm done."

"You know I can't die right?"

"Yeah..."

"Really?" He tested her, seeing if she'd repeat the answer.

"Yea--" Adam cuts her off.

"Well then let's go get drunk, my throat is pretty parched right now." Everyone behind Alice looked around, John gave a thumbs up, Grey shrugged it off and the other two, Blanka and Shelby high fives each other, all at the same time.

"Yeah.... Let's go get drunk in celebration of Adams recovery!!" She says as she pulled him out of his resting place and assisted him to the mercenaries inn even though he didn't need help... He wouldn't dare try to fight it knowing that she would easily over power him.

As they sat at a round table they drunk a few until Adam asked,"what happened to me anyway and why are we out here, what about the tournament?" Blanka didn't waist any time spilling the beans to him.

"Well, what is there to say, you used your powers and they back fired, you were covered in a supernova of a boom and ya kinda left a hole in our training room but that's being repaired, we ended up having to complete the tournament with just the three of us as we didn't have enough time to grab two more guys. The academy won't be available to us for three months."

That was a bulk of info, far too much for him to care about anything other than what his part of the story was. "Well I guess I should count myself lucky then." He said as he took a sip, Alice of course gouged herself in the drink before slamming it down and shattering it.

"AAAAWWwww, that cost me a fortune! Waiteeeeeer!!" A woman in formal uniform rushes to the area.

"How may I help you?"

"Look at this." She groans, pointing at the table where the liquor and glass lay. "I need another ooooone." She says before laughing uncontrollably.

"I gotta hand it to ya, you sure know how to get drunk...." Blanka said embarrassingly as she softly face palmed herself. "Well I surely can't let you have all the fun now can I?" She chugs the bottle, making Adams mouth drop wide open.

"NO, you both can't get drunk, that's definitely a bad idea!" He blurts out. "And now that I'm thinking about it, you said you were a dagger wielder, yet you were using a staff when we fought, care to explain?"

"Ahshumafa hehehe..." She couldn't even get the words out.

"I guess I'll ask when you're sobered."

"So John, where have you been all this time?" He hadn't seen him in a while, about a year to be exact.

"You know, taking care of business, training, nearly missed being clipped by the Hero's Creed when Alice saved me."

"What, you actually survived meeting one up close and personal?"

"I know, as strong as they are we've still got our number four."

"And let's not forget our six over there." He pointed to Blanka.

"Are you serious!" He stares at her. "WOW, I'm so honored to meet another!" He praises her.

"Well thank you." John then stares at Adam.

"How is it that all the important members are always present when you are?... Who are you really?" He asked jealously.

"I'm nearly the assistant of Alice, been that way since I was... Eight?"

"And you're a damn good one too." Alice says, finishing the bottle, at that point he knew she was gone.

"And what about the guy that was after your sister?" She slams a dagger on the table.

"Consider this a token of our agreement." She said with a smug look on her face. He chuckles.

"Guess he won't ever be problem again huh?"

"Him or his people." Impressed that she did all that in about a year.

"You're too good for this I tell ya." He complemented her, went to take another sip but decided to pass.

"Heey, if you don't want it I'll finish it for you." Shelby said. He slides her the drink and watches her empty the bottle in just a few seconds."aaaaw, this blumer's soft!" Mage should suspected him to be a casual drinker.

"Heeeey, you six over there, you're under arrest!!!" A guard said, accompanied by multiple men, it goes to show that having a conversation out loud and in public isn't really the best idea.

"Ok, this could be a problem." Blanka said.

"Dun worry, I got thisss." Alice got pus of her seat, held her arm out and shot a massive amount of fire at them."alright, let's go!" She said as she stumbled to move.

"Grey!" He yelled.

"Right!" He prepared his gauntlets, spikes popped out of the knuckle areas.

"Blanka!"

"You got it!" She pulls the scythe from her back. "Let's go!" Horizontal swipe of her scythe she sends a wall of wind that carried the fire off with everyone else. By then john had already busted a hole in the wall for them to escape.

[Adam's bounty tripled to 15G's]
[ Blanka's bounty rose by little]
[Shelby's bounty rose to 1250000]
[John's bounty doubled to 6000], [Grey's identity is unknown to the guards]
[Alice's is now an enemy of Unity with 4mil on her bounty.]

"Everyone get a hand on me!" Adam shadow dashes everyone to the closest hideout, along the way his body started feeling like it was being ripped apart. 'Come on, just a little further!!!' He thought to himself.

A couple seconds later they arrived at the hideout. In shambles Adam collapses on the rough ground, waking up a day and a half afterward, this time no one was there. He gets up, realizing he was at the hideout and that he had gotten everyone out of a pinch.

He takes his first step, barreled over and face planted the floor. He lays there, there seemed to be two of everything, his eyes had not adjusted. Getting up to open the door Adam stubbles to get out and about halfway there a member spots him.

"Hey-hey-hey, what are you doing out of bed, you haven't recovered yet." The guy said as he picks him up to bring him back, he tries to struggle but is too weak to fight. Back where he started he attempts to get out of bed,"Ooooh, no, you stay here." The guy pushed him against the bed then knocked him out.

The next day, between morning and evening he wakes up. "Oh Adam, I'm sorry we had to rely on you like that." Blanka said as she twirled her hair."if you're wondering why Alice isn't here it's because she had to move back to main headquarters. She won't ever be coming back."

"Wha-what?"

"I'm sorry but she's an enemy of Unity so it'll be dangerous for her to stay here.... You're with me now, you're my assistant." He took that info pretty well, he was ok with being unable to see her ever again unless he went there himself.

"Alright, what are we going to do then?"

"We actually have to go to the island, there are some things we need to discus about Unity." He nods as he is helped out of bed and to the docks where they boarded a ship to Headquarters.

[Adam]

[Taking Unity 1: The gathering]

As the group made it to Unity they broke up into groups of four, all made to go gather up the men from the hideouts to go to war with the current king. As his group which consisted of him and Alice went to a hideout of her choice, from there the men scattered to meet up at one point, the colossal, stone castle.

[Taking Unity 2: The Assault]

"Are you ready for this Adam, its going to get pretty real when it starts, the goal is for our lesser members to start a riot while our stronger upper members, which are us, kill the king, cut off his head and steal his throne." He nods, a few minutes and they are in front of the colossal castle.

"Are you ready!!!" The second must have given his speech to prepare a battle cry, when his men screamed he becomes this tesla coil shooting electricity out in all directions, then like a lightning he zips across the air and blows a hole through the highest point of the wall. Adam and Alice follow using there traveling abilities.

It was there that the king and his family sat at the throne, in an instant everyone was dead, all killed by that guy and his electricity. With the king dead and no one to stop him he levitated himself to the throne rooms chair where he sat. Adam then severed the head of the former king and gave it to a lesser member on ground level to show to everyone that all may bow before the Six's might and end the war just like that.

[Taking Unity 3: victory]
[One month later]

Unity finally belonged to the Six, but not in the way Adam had expected, they literally owned it now. As he strolled through he noticed that even the guards were dressed with his organization's colors and emblem.

Now, they had an even bigger challenge, the other three or maybe just the other two empires if that would respond negatively to the new order, for now they didn't do anything be he knew they were planing something... Either way he was able to finally be at easy, no more bounty.

[Adam]

As he strolled along the Chrimson city he was approached by a message deliverer. "Hey, you there, yooouuur Adam right, I got these messages for you." He hands them off then leaves.

'By order of the Court give yourself up now or be killed mercilessly, you have two options, either put it back in your pocket or rip it in half and leave it.' Well what a strange way to start a day. Obviously they was somebody watching him for them to give that kind of instruction. As he looked around he saw nothing at first, then he saw a hooded figure.

"That's my guy huh?" He said as he walked off with the letter still in his hand, he looked back to see the guy was still following him, sure enough they were there. 'I could easily take em if I leave a clone of myself behind then take their head.' He shadow dashes behind the guy who was still looking at his copy, a quick slash took off his head. "Ha, too easy."

Placing the note back in his pocket pulls out another note.

It only took a few seconds thanks to his ability, now standing before the castle he noticed that the previous hole in the wall was made into a balcony. Making his ascension he reaches the former hole and enters the room. "Oh, it's you, you got here faster than I though." He tosses a silver, stone looking device.

"What's this?" He asked as he snatched the item out of the air.

"I don't know, your father wasn't exactly clear about its purpose." He said as Adam placed the stone onto the sword which then fused itself into it.

"What the!.." A luminous light blinded him for a few seconds, when it dimmed his sword had a skull marking on it, suddenly lighting started forming around the blade.

"Aaah, I get it now, your father sure is something." He looked at him, confused at what was going on, what exactly did he mean. "Don't bother trying to figure it out, it's not worth trying, just know there are five more where that came from."

Still confused he decided to just go with it, that it'll make sense soon enough."Alright then, I'll be on my way sir." As he goes to take his leave Xiao stopped him.

"Hey." He looks back. "Watch yourself out there, the Court aren't too happy about us taking their land like that, so the Hero's creed may end up storming on in, not to mention they sent people out to clip us." He said.

"Well that explains the guy that I killed." He said, then disappeared. Night was starting to fall but he wasn't particularly worried, in all honesty he would be able to enjoy the night for once. Suddenly Alice appeared in front of him.

"Do you have any idea how hard I had to try to look for you?" She pouted as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Why were you looking for me?"

"Well duh, you're my assistant after all, it's your job to always be available." Shrugging it off he begins to speak.

"Meh, I guess you're right." He said as they began to walk, he noticed that as they walk she would look around."People are after me aren't they?"

"What-no, no-no, no one is after you why, why do you think that?"

"Because I killed a guy, and the king said so."

"I think that was probably just some left over rebels.. Iiii---" She suddenly grabs and chunks him to the side while drawing her sword to block an attack. "Adam get out of here!"

Refusing to leave he puts his hand on the hilt of his sword, all hidden foes were now visible to him. "There's three more hiding on the roofs." He said, they jump down to attack as a result of being exposed.

Fire light up the night as she allowed herself to burn like a torch."Fire!" He heard a voice yell. Suddenly a girl with absolutely no armor dropped in, put the hilt of both swords together and spins them in a circle, sending a tornado that blows out the flames. In an instant she had moved to him, hit him in the stomach and used her arm to hold him by the neck.

"Let's go!" In an instant they were all gone, leaving Alice with a few guards in the shadows.'How did this happen, how did I get caught like this?' He asked himself, suddenly everything blacked out.

When he regained consciousness he immediately realized: A, he was captive. B, his hands were tied behind his back and C, he was on a table that was surrounded by five people, the Heroes to be exact.

"You have no idea how much trouble your in boy, killing our men." A man in heavy armor with a giant sword in his hand. "You're lucky I don't kill you, but you didn't rip the letter, why, why would you kill one of my men but leave the letter in tact that doesn't make any sense.?"

"Okay, first of all he shouldn't have been following me, second of all it's none of your business why I didn't rip it." The man takes a punch, in all honesty it felt like he fell off a two story building. Spitting blood on the table he continues to speak."I killed him because I knew his job was to kill me should I have ripped the paper."

"Do you even know why you're here kid?" A guy with red hair asked him.

"No, I don't care either, I'm going to get out of here." He said confidently when that guy with heavy armor slammed his great sword flat on the table near him.

"It's because you didn't rip the LETTER!" He yelled, that message must have some kind of value for it to come strait from the Court itself.

"What he means is the Court seems to see you as a valuable member to us, almost as valuable as Fiona over there." She says as she pointed across the table.

"Hi." She said in a monotone voice, there was something off about her, he just didn't know what.

"Anyway, you're going to work for us."

"Ha, that's funny, as if I'd work for you fools."

"I thought you'd say that." In an instant her hand was pressed against his chest, a serge of energy pulsed through him, sending him off the table and onto the floor, drooling from the staggering pain in his chest he screams.

"What kind of Heroes are you, attacking a defenseless man."

"You're an exception, oh and now you have to work for us or that seal on your chest will release a lethal amount of electricity in your body."

"Damn you, you're no heroes, you're monsters."

"Look who's talking, you killed many men with that blade, oh and about that blade, we have it now, you'll be using this for now on." She tossed a two inch dagger. "That's all you get so don't ask.

"Really, I'm going to die with this letter opener." He said with a smug smile on his face, referring to the letter they sent him.

"Oh well, we don't trust you and you don't have a choice. I could just kill ya if you want, take you out of your misery."

"Fine, I don't even care."

"Good, then you're coming with me to the Devine blade, we are going to clear out the current evil guilds that roam the empire. Maybe then after some work you'll learn that this side is much better."

"I doubt it, can you untie me now though, I'm very uncomfortable."

"Fine, untie him." The man in heavy armor said as two common soldiers came by and untied him." He picks up the only weapon they have him, in an emergency situation he would be in trouble.

"Come on rookie, let's go, you've got some work to do." He leaves but before he makes it too far the sticks his hand out, blocking him from going any further.

"If you betray us and that seal doesn't work, I'll KILL you myself, got it!?" He spits left over blood in his face, the guy sucker punches him in return, knocking him back were he started on the table. Slowly he gets off, he wanted to kill him but at the moment he was at their mercy.

They leave to go to Devine Blade.
